Not a good morning

This morning for breakfast (Marriott Courtyard).  I walk into the room, wait staff are all there, no one comes up to me to get me a seat or even tells me to grab an open table.  I grab a table.  At courtyards, its a buffet breakfast and they bring you coffee.  Not for me!  After getting some food, I finally go find some coffee for myself.  After I finish they DO come take my plate, but do not bring the bill...  They are by no means busy.

After about 20 min I get up and ask for my bill at the checkout.  

No tip for you!

Not a good night

Last night I went out to fill my tummy after arriving in Ft. Wayne.  The waitress said "I'll take good care of you"  I thought "Right, sure you will (sic)"  After I finished it was about 30 min before she came over to me (only the second time, first time was to get my order) to ask if I wanted the bill...

20 min later she arrived with it.  I gave her a 25 cent tip!

Shooting Eagles!!!

Went to Sauk City today to try to photography the eagles. No great shots for my first time doingit but I got some OK ones. Check out my flickr account to see them. One thing I learned. I HAVE to get a teleconverter. My 300mm F4 Nikor lens just is not long enough. A 1.4 should be fast enough but possibly not long enough. I am afraid to buy a 2.0 tc because of quality and the speed. I do want to get one soon and go back before winter ends.
